Midway through 2006, a group consisting of Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Australia, DoubleClick and creative agency Profero got together to talk about the UK Creative Showcase that celebrates the best digital creative in Britain, and decided they should set up something similar to recognise the great creative work being done by Australian agencies, and establish an award which showcases cutting-edge creativity and innovation within the online advertising sector. The work is judged by a panel of agencies largely made up of local members of Creative Social.

How to Enter


Who is behind The Showcase?
Launched in November 2006 by the Interactive Advertising Bureau Australia, the Creative Showcase celebrates cutting-edge creativity and innovation within the online advertising sector.

Why enter?
Australia produces world-class online creative that doesn't always get the recognition and acclaim it deserves.

You’ll also be in the running to win a trip to the US for MIXX 2009 including entry of your campaign in their awards. There will be one winner and two runners up announced each quarter and at the end of the year, a “best of the best” award.

Who can enter?
Any agency or in-house team can enter as long as their campaign was targeted at an Australian audience. The work is judged by senior online creatives and the winners, plus two runners up, get their work published here and in AdNews.

What can I enter?
You can enter any digital work as long as it is a bona fide campaign that ran within the past three months. Examples of work could include; banners, buttons, skyscrapers, rich media, email, viral campaigns, mobile, blogs, podcasting or campaign microsites. You can enter one campaign per competition. When do I have to enter by?
The deadline for the next Creative Showcase is 24 December 2009. You may submit work from October, November or December 2009.

The overall winner of Creative Showcase will be announced at the IAB Awards in May 2010 and their award entered in MIXX 2010.

You will be sent a reminder of the closing date each quarter if you have registered for the Creative Showcase.
